WhatsApp has enabled a new good feature for all WhatsApp Web users: Picture in Picture!

In order to use this feature, you need to install update 0.3.1846. You can update the next version of WhatsApp Web, which automatically checks for a new update every time you open WhatsApp Web.

To verify the version, go to WhatsApp Web> Settings> Help’ Open i. If the version is not 0.3.1846 and is older, you should clear your browser’s cache. When you are sure you are at least version 0.3.1846, you can test the feature.

Since the video is sent, you can choose to play in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode and continue messaging in chat, PiP does not disappear. Picture-in-Picture mode coming to WhatsApp Web currently only supports WhatsApp videos. YouTube and Facebook videos continue to open in the side tab.

This feature is also being tested for videos hosted on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Streamable.
