WHO IS MAHMUT ÖZER?

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, He was born on May 5, 1970 in Tokat. Having completed his primary and secondary education in this city, Özer graduated from Istanbul Technical University Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in 1992.

He received his master’s and doctorate degrees from Karadeniz Technical University Institute of Science Electronics Engineering Department. Özer completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of State Airports Administration, and worked as an electronics engineer at Dalaman Airport between 1992 and 1994.

Özer, lecturer at Gazi Osmanpaşa University between 1994-2002 , served as a faculty member at Zonguldak Karaelmas University, Faculty of Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering between 2002-2010.

He served as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University between 28 November 2010 and 4 October 2017. Özer, who was the Chairman of the Interuniversity Board, Member of the Board of Directors of the Vocational Qualifications Authority and Deputy Chairman, between August 1, 2015 and August 1, 2016, Turkish Stand He served as a Member of the General Assembly of the Institute of Environmental Protection.

Özer was appointed as the Head of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center on October 4, 2017.
