Microsoft has announced that it will no longer release security patches for Windows XP SP1 after NOVEMBER. So what does it mean?
You have the original Windows XP Sp1 Cd and you have reinstalled your system. If you don’t convert your system to SP2, then your system will be a passerby, as microsoft firm will not release security patches for the newly released Sp1 vulnerabilities. Putting this aside, you have XP SP1 License and you get Paid / Free technical support from Microsoft. Here you can’t get it anymore…
Order an SP2 CD from Microsoft’s Web page as soon as possible.
NOTE: The CD is Free. It contains only Service Pack 2 patch.
