The “Google Translate” application will be installed on your device. When you open the application after installing, the above screen will appear. There are language options on the left and right at the top.. If you choose which language you will translate from on the left,. On the right, the language option to be translated will be selected.. The two arrows in the middle toggle between the two options.. Left side will be translated, right side will be translated language. You can translate quickly by typing what you want to translate in the text section at the bottom.
Translation with camera scanning helps you quickly see the meanings of words and convert words into text if there are long texts without typing.
Let’s demonstrate how to use camera scan with an example using the camera to translate a paragraph of English text from the book into Turkish. In the first place, let’s choose the option on the upper left side in English, since we have the English text (if the text was in Turkish, we would choose Turkish), since the text will be translated into Turkish, let’s choose the right side in Turkish.. Now tap on the icon that says “Camera” at the bottom. After tapping the camera, the app will ask you to access your phone’s camera.. Give access permission.
After granting access permission, align your camera on an English text above, after aligning your camera, you will see Turkish texts written on the right side as in the picture on the right.. There will not be a full translation as in the translation field, but the meanings of the English words will be written on it.. An image will appear as above.
When the camera and text are exactly centered, tap the red camera at the bottom, the app will scan the English text and select the words one by one.. The scanning process and the exact detection of words depend on how accurately the text you scanned is scanned by the application.. The smoother the font and text in the text to be scanned, the more successful the scanning process and the conversion of words into text.. After scanning, when you see the selected screen above, the “Select All” option will appear at the bottom.. Selected texts will be pasted as editable fonts in the normal translation text field on the main screen of the application by clicking “Select all”.. The added text will also be seen translated in the translation section.. You can edit the texts as you wish and optimize the translation.
