The broadcast frequencies of 73 TV and radio stations broadcasting from Türksat 2A satellite, including the main TV channels watched throughout the country, have been changed.
From the satellite. Unless the frequencies of all broadcasting TV and radio broadcasts are replaced with new ones, no image will be obtained. In order to be able to receive these broadcasts again, satellite devices need to be adjusted to the new frequencies.
Broadcast interruption did not occur in big cities, but there was a short broadcast interruption in some small towns. In addition, people receiving TV and radio broadcasts from the satellite could not watch the broadcasts until the site and common antenna systems made the satellite receiver settings. Cable TV subscribers did not have any problems as Türksat adjusted the channels it transmits from 21 cable TV centers on the same day.
