It is the battery that explodes, not the phone.
We have read and heard a lot of news that the phone exploded. First of all, it should be noted that it is the battery that explodes, not the phone. Battery explosions have been a big problem for smartphone manufacturers for years. Samsung has confirmed that battery explosion incidents are caused by faulty batteries. Using a technique known as cryo electron microscopy, a team working on battery development was able to observe the chain reaction that causes lithium-ion batteries to explode. The team determined that it was through dendrites, the tiny crystalline structures that would form when an electrical overload passed through a lithium-ion battery. Sometimes the battery causes a short circuit and sometimes an explosion.
The team expressed hope that they could make batteries that are safer to work with. After understanding how the explosion occurred, battery manufacturers will produce batteries that can take precautions to prevent explosions.
This development is promising for the future, but for now, there is a risk of explosion in handset batteries.
What precautions can be taken to prevent battery explosions;
1-Staying away from cheap batteries and chargers, Using original products. If you are using a Power Bank (portable charger). It is necessary to use a quality product. There are very cheap devices in the market that will damage your phone.
2- Do not leave the phone on charge for a long time. Unplug the phone after the battery is full.
3 Do not hold your phone while the phone is charging. The risk of explosion increases. God forbid, you don’t want to have a phone in your hand in case of an explosion.
