Eleman.net shared the results of the study titled Digitalization and Its Effects on Business Life with the public.. The study, attended by 22,400 people from across Turkey, reflects the views of the business world on what digitalization brings. While the respondents stated that digitalization makes business life easier, they think that the traditional workplace concept and working methods will radically change in the future with the technological transformation. While 67 percent state that digitalization makes business life easier, 22 percent argue that technological developments transform business life, 6 percent argue that it makes business life more difficult, and 5 percent argue that it does not have any effect.
Traditional Working methods will change
To the question “Do you think that the concept of traditional workplace and working methods will change radically in the future with the technological transformation”, 59 percent of the respondents answered “Yes, it will”.. 37 percent of the participants stated that they will change it partially, and 4 percent said that they will not.
Will artificial intelligence replace the human workforce in the future?
Artificial intelligence and digital technologies are the leading dynamics that affect business life the most.. Regarding these dynamics, to the question “Do you think that artificial intelligence will replace the human workforce in the future as artificial intelligence and digital technologies continue to develop?”, 47 percent answered “Yes, it will”, 40 percent said they would partially, and 10 percent answered. He gave the answer that he certainly would not.
How was the research conducted?
For the study titled Digitalization and Its Effects on Business Life by Eleman.net, 45 percent of women from Turkey and 55 percent of 22 thousand 400 people attended with male ratio. 46 percent of the participants were high school graduates, 18 percent undergraduate, 18 percent associate degree, 16 percent primary education and 2 percent master’s degree.. The age groups of the majority of the participants are respectively 26 percent 21-25 age group, 21 percent 26-30 age group, 14 percent 31-35 age group, 14 percent 36-40 age group, and 10 percent 41-45 age group.
