Teknoblog.com – Programs that Apple has approved for sale on the App Store or not have started to occupy the agenda more and more. The most recently discussed program is BdEmailer, an email application.

Apple has issued a press release on this subject. This program is the first large-scale iPhone email application to support SMTP client. This means that BdEmailer works the same as the default email app on iPhone. From the examples we’ve seen before, we’ve come to believe that Apple doesn’t allow to sell programs on the App Store that do the job their own programs do. So what has changed this time?

Programs such as MailWrangler and Podcaster were not granted App Store visas for the above reason. Maybe the reason BdEmailer is allowed is because it has an SMTP client. This feature is not available in the iPhone’s own client.
