As of now, 2 days and 37 minutes left until the January 27th Event. As I mentioned in the title, according to the latest news, The New York Times is busy developing the application of the newspaper for Apple’s tablet. They even set up a “Reader Applications Section”. I have no doubt that even local newspapers will develop applications within a few months of going on sale in our country. Book publishers will probably sell e-books with applications or maybe directly over the internet services Apple will offer. According to American sources, publishers have been in close contact with Apple for the last 2 weeks. We hope that someone in our country will work on the subject and our reading rate will increase.
Another gossip is from EA. Electronic Arts, I think, will surprise at the event by showing the demo of the first game written for the Tablet with their chests open. The fact that EA is getting a little better at every event is good news for anyone like me who isn’t a fan of installing Windows on their Mac to play games. I am impatiently waiting for games written especially for the Mac platform from EA.
