Putting a Password on the Computer from the BIOS

You can set a password to your computer for various reasons. In terms of your security and protection of your information, it is normal to put a password on your computer. Putting a password on Windows is not a solution. It can be decrypted with a few simple operations, even your information can be accessed easily without having to decrypt it. For now, the best protection would be to enter the bios settings and set a password for yourself.

You are restarting your computer. You reach the Bios Menu with one of the Delete F1 or F10 keys

Supervisor/User Password

Supervisor Password puts a password on both the BIOS Setup and the system. In other words, you cannot enter the BIOS settings without typing the password, it will definitely not open on your computer. (However, pay attention to the “Security Option” setting, which we explained in the BIOS Features Setup section!) User Password, on the other hand, only puts a password on the startup of your computer. Your system is password free when it first arrives. When you enter the password for the first time, you enter the password you typed twice for checking purposes. To remove the password, simply press these options and leave the password input line blank.
