TCP Configuration & DHCP Server;
It is

1.) manual
2.) automatic
There is a server/client system that allows tcp configuration to be configured in a special way for each computer.

dhcp server

The process is done in 5 steps.
1.)  DHCP Discovery
client sends broadcast message to 0.0.0.0/32 (udp message)
2.)  Server receiving DHCP Offer
makes an offer to client a.
3.)  DHCP Request
4.)  DHCP Response
5.)  DHCP Acknowledge
client sends information to the server that it has received the ip.

Dhcp Configuration :

configuration is done via /etc/dhcpd.conf file.

This file is not available on servers. but when the file is created
dhcp server can be run.

To install dhcp :
yum install dhcp*

after installation
when you want to run the service
* service dhcpd start
command gives error. (note: no dhcpd.conf file)

firstly, copy the sample file under /etc.
Sample File: /usr/share/doc/dhcp-4.0.0/dhcpd.conf.sample

cp /usr/share/doc/dhcp-4.0.0/dhcpd.conf.sample /etc/dhcpd.conf

File Editing :
/etc/dhcpd. Open the conf file…..
