Turning Turkey into the service and support center of the Middle East and Africa, ZyXEL chose Turkey as its new investment base. The technology base that ZyXEL will establish in Turkey; Its head office in Taiwan will be the 4th largest investment after America and China, and the 4th R&D center of Turkey.

Operating in the field of ADSL and networking with its head office in Taiwan, ZyXEL will share the technologies it produces with its R&D studies in Turkey with the surrounding countries. The company will continue the investment details within the universities and KOSGEB after the 4 million YTL cash outsourcing, which will be used for personnel employment, office establishment, business development and better service support.

ZyXEL General Manager Vefa Tarhan said at the press conference that ZyXEL, the world’s giant in ADSL, DSL and network products, has chosen Turkey as its new technology base. Stating that the company, whose Turkey leg was established in June 2007, is one of the biggest suppliers of Türk Telekom, Tarhan said that Turkey was the first technical support center for ZyXEL, and from there, support would be provided to neighboring countries, the Middle East and countries in Africa.

In response to a question about being the 4th R&D center in Turkey for ZyXEL, Tarhan pointed out that the government has had serious demands from foreign companies related to R&D in the recent period, adding that Turkey’s largest investment from the region. He said that it is the leading country in the field and that this place will be the center of development and growth.

Founder and Chairman of the Board of ZyXEL, Dr. Shun-ı Chu also stated that their main goal in Turkey is to provide the best support to all partners in every segment with a more independent brand.
